Pricing

Pricing based on the work your products need.

Tell us what your suppliers provide, what your product listings need and how many products you work with. We will scope the work and prepare a quote.

  • No setup fee
  • No per-seat charge
  • No lock-in
  • No minimum spend

You pay for the work performed on your products

Research, categorisation, specifications, titles, descriptions, SEO fields and media selection are separate tasks, each with its own rate. A product is charged for the tasks that run on it, so a product that needs less work costs less.

A product that arrived as a code and a price

  • Research
  • Structure
  • Content
  • Media
  • Reconciliation

The same tasks are available to every product. Each product is charged only for the ones that actually run on it.

What counts as a task

Each of these is priced separately, and each runs on a product only when that product needs it.

  • Research

Finding what your supplier never sent: the real specification of the product, from the manufacturer and from the web.

  • Structure

The category a product belongs in, and the specifications that category expects — filled from the evidence we found.

  • Content

The title, the long and short description, and the SEO fields your sales channels need.

  • Media

Images, video and technical documents: found, checked against the product, and the wrong ones rejected.

  • Reconciliation

When several suppliers offer the same product, one record reconciled from all of them.

What affects your price

Three things decide how much work your catalog needs, and you can see all three before you commit.

  • Your supplier data

What your suppliers already provide, and what still needs researching. A feed that arrives with clean specifications runs fewer tasks than a spreadsheet of codes and prices.

  • The content you need

Which tasks are configured for your product listings. Some catalogs need SEO fields and video; others need a category and a specification table and nothing more.

  • Your product volume

How many products you process, and how often you take in new supplier data.

What is included

We set up and run Catalogica with your team.

  • Feed mapping — we map each supplier feed for you.
  • Rule configuration — the rules for your categories and content, configured with your editors.
  • Onboarding and support in your team’s language.
  • Human review — nothing is charged per seat or per correction.

None of this carries a setup or onboarding charge. Your quote covers the per-task rates only.

How we get to a price

Three steps, and nothing is charged until the rates are agreed and in writing.

  1. 01

    Send us a sample

One supplier feed and an example of the product information you need. No account and no setup to get this far.

  2. 02

    We scope and quote

We map what your feed already carries and what has to be researched, then put the per-task rates in writing.

  3. 03

A pilot on one supplier feed

We run the real work on real products at the quoted rates, and either side can stop after it.

Pricing questions

Is there a minimum spend or commitment?

No. There is no minimum spend and no setup fee. There is a contract, but it fixes your per-task rates rather than committing you to a term or a volume: you can stop using Catalogica at any time, with nothing to pay for work you did not run. We start with a scoped pilot on one supplier feed at the rates in your quote.

What happens to our price if our catalog grows?

The rates in your quote are per task, so what you pay follows the work that actually runs: a busier month costs more, a quieter one costs less. Growing your catalog changes nothing on its own. If your volume changes materially, we look at the rates together.

How are custom integrations and additional work quoted?

Custom extraction steps, supplier-specific rules and the connection into your systems are scoped and quoted with you before we start. Once live, each is its own priced task, billed the same way as every other.

How do we actually pay?

The billing cadence is agreed with you as part of the quote. Usage & Billing in Catalogica shows the tasks and the amounts for the current and the previous month, so your administrators can see what has accumulated at any point.

Where can we see our usage?

In the Usage & Billing view in Catalogica: the number of tasks and the amounts for the current and previous month, with a per-product breakdown of every task and its amount. Your account administrators have access to it.

What happens if you change your prices?

Every task is recorded at the price that applied when it ran, and that record never changes. A price change applies to work performed after it, never to work you have already been charged for.
